About Matthew Layne
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist (Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)) who is passionate about working with you on your journey. It is a great honour to walk alongside my clients on their journey of self-discovery and healing and I believe my role as a therapist is to help guide and support my clients through their therapeutic journey.
I understand that therapy can feel intimidating, and I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, challenges, and goals. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, substance use or relationship difficulties, I am here to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and develop healthier patterns. Through our work together, my aim is to help empower you to tap into your inner resources and strength, creating lasting change and fostering greater well-being.
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models, including CBT, SIRP and attachment theory, all while focusing on the client’s individual core needs and values. I believe in the power of collaboration—working together with clients to develop strategies and insights that are both practical and transformative.
I am supervised by Lisa Zimmerman, MHS, CCC, RP.
Call today to book your appointment for therapy or leave a confidential message for me. I am accepting new clients.
